The Great Commission

• Jesus said, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.  And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:18-20 NLT).

 

The Great Commandment

• Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it; Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Matthew 22:37-40 NIV).

 

At Cornerstone, we not only want to go into the nations of the world and preach the Gospel; we want to minister to the needs of the people out of our love for them.  We believe that salvation is the primary need of all people, but we also desire to see the love of Jesus demonstrated in our actions in response to the physical needs of the people.  We believe that is the way Jesus lived and ministered, and it is our desire that the people of the earth would see Jesus in us.

 

We partner with missionaries in Asia, Central America and Europe through Calvary International. 

Our partnership with the DeHarts in Guatemala has resulted in much fruitful ministry. We have adopted a village in the Peten Department and have recently been able to send funds for the village we have adopted to repair their well and water distribution system, and we are working with a native pastor there to build a new church.

In Bhutan, we are partnering with the Acunas as they plant churches and train ministers in Thailand, Bhutan, Laos and beyond. We are seeing God do amazing things in Russia and Eastern Europe as we partner  with the Williamsons and Go To Nations to train pastors in missions mobilization.
